Free download of my published book "Jersey Devil: ACIO-015". This book is a part of the Anomalous Creatures, Items and Occurrences series.
Descriptions surrounding Jersey Devil are not entirely consistent and seem to more accurately feature a collection of difficult to describe spliced animal body parts added together. The most common early description of the creature claimed it to have been a flying bipedal animal with large wings that were similar in design to that of bat wings. The head of Jersey Devil was described as appearing to be similar, though possibly smaller, than the head of a horse, with its legs being exceptionally skinny, ending in horse-like hoofed feet.
Later descriptions of the creature would claim that the Jersey Devil would appear to have the body of a Kangaroo, the head of a goat, and not a horse, cloven hooves, horns at the top of its head, a forked tail, and small arms that end in sharp claws. Although the reports from future encounters with the creature only slightly alter the original claims, and instead serve to add increasing detail to their descriptions, it appears that the later descriptions also seem to hold a closer connotation with satanic imagery, as small crowning horns, cloven hooves, a forked tail and the goat seem to be features commonly associated with demonic entities such as christian Satanic depictions or Baphomet.
